We arrived at this place on a warm summer afternoon and felt instantly relaxed. The cottages are set amongst a naturally beautiful rainforest with a glorious natural swimming pool which lines the bottom perimeter of the property. There is an abundance of wildlife including a host of friendly (and vocal) kookaburras, platypus, butterflies and dragonflies and plenty of pretty spots to sit and contemplete….nothing! (perfect). Our hosts Kylee and Kym made us feel very welcome without being intrusive, and the boutique-style fully self-contained cottages themselves are cosy and classy with a great view, amazing spa bath and comfy beds providing the perfect romantic and luxurious retreat in an idyllic natural setting. There is lots of information provided about the local area-we made use of the bikes to ride up into the national park located nearby and we also drove the beautiful 20 minute drive through the lush hinterland out to the coast for a swim at Currumbin Beach. This is a perfect retreat to get back to nature and spend some time experiencing the peace and tranquiltiy of Currumbin Valley-We loved it and can’t wait to return.
